Getting Close

Treasure is in stage one of labor. This early stage is one of restlessness, panting and some brief rest periods. She has refused food all day. Pups should begin to arrive in the middle of the night or early tomorrow. She is staying mainly in her box, but only because it is the only option being offered. She would prefer to go outside and dig a hole to have the puppies in. It is going to be a long night.
