Liberty and Kim

Treasure's sister Liberty and her mom Kim along with son Trent met us at the International Kennel Club show in Chicago this weekend. Here are Kim and Liberty in the ring for the very first time! They looked great. It was hard to believe it was their first time in the ring since they did such a good job working as a team. Way to go Kim.

Our hearts are sad on Valentine's Day

Ch. Starbuck Bismark's Revenge

August 26, 2001 - February 14, 2008

Our hearts are so very sad this Valentine's Day as we said good bye to Boston's brother Ernie. Ernie was a big beautiful boy. He loved to pull a sled, play with his special friends and give love to everyone he met. Ernie was owned and adored by Bill and Sharon Code our good friends and breeding partners. He was Bill's "boy". Gone way too soon! Ernie may your trails be smooth and the wind always be at your back. Run free big boy!

February 9, 1964

Two important things happened on February 9, 1964, the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and my husband Michael was born. Last night we celebrated his birthday with a dinner at Cygnus on the 27th floor of the Amway Grand Plaza and then attended a concert tribute to the Beatles with the Grand Rapids Symphony. The four actors playing the Beatles did an excellent job and had the entire audience and even the orchestra on their feet dancing for the encore rendition of Twist and Shout. A terrific evening!

Waiting on Korbel

Ms. Korbel has been bred to Ch. Igloo's Diamond Digger of Kieu. We will ultrasound her on February 25th so we know if it took or not. In the mean time Korbel is enjoying all the attention she gets as a mother to be maybe.
