Tasty Treat

Here is little Treat. He got to play in the living room today for the first time and enjoyed the carpet, meeting Sioux and mugging for the camera!

New Champion

Ginger is now Ch Hawkwind's Dance on Air. She finished her championship just six shows after we started showing her, and did it with a flourish taking four majors and going Best of Breed over six specials to finish! Here she is winning her second major in Flint, Michigan.

Fun with Ginger

Mike and I have been having fun with a friend named Ginger. She was a sled dog in Wisconsin until recently when she was adopted by a wonderful family near us. We've been taking her to shows because she deserves to be a champion and maybe a mom some day. Mike put a point on her a couple of weeks ago in Midland and then I put a major on her this weekend. She is just burning up the rings in Michigan where the judges appreciate her effortless sled dog movement!

After a long week on the road touring Michigan with a group of MSU faculty and doctoral students I had the pleasure of coming home to this lovely picture of the beautiful Barley boy who is relaxing at his home in Illinois. Barley is Boston's boy puppy from last spring. He and his sisters will be celebrating their 1st birthday this week. Thank you Sylvia and David for sharing.
