Promise Made and..

promise kept! Phantom promised Mike he would win at the dog show today if only he could sleep on the bed in the hotel last night. Mike caved and shared the bed. This morning Phantom kept his promise going WD and BoW for two points and earned glowing complements from the judge. Good boy Phantom!

Sweet Sioux

April 23, 2000 - February 20, 2010

Her name was CH Lakota Sioux of Lenette. She was the sweetest Pomeranian I ever met. Sioux loved everyone she knew; she was gentle, fragile and oh so very beautiful. Her greatest love in life was puppies..didn't matter who's puppies they were or if they were Pomeranians or Samoyeds, she wanted to be their mom. She would kick out her boot (rear foot) and chatter to you, and insist you let her see the puppies. It was not unusual for her to climb into the whelping box of a litter, to inspect the puppies and wash them up. Sadly she never had any of her own because they would have been spectacular. Sioux was a group winning Pom who was #3 Pom bitch in the country one year with very limited showing. Here she is in 2004 when she won Best of Breed and Group 3 at the Toy Specialty in Michigan under Mike's favorite judge the late Peggy Hogg. Sioux left us way too soon and we will miss her forever. Rest in peace Sioux and take care of all those puppies up there, you are now their guardian angel.

Treasure's Valentine

Sweet Treasure reports from Denver, Colorado that Answer has agreed to be her Valentine. He is CH T-Snow Stars All the Above and he is very handsome. Apparently he has all the right stuff. Treasure will be back in Michigan soon to wait for the stork.
