I spend most of my days plowing through mountains of text as I write page after page of my dissertation. There is rarely time out for anything fun...and several days can pass without leaving the house. That is why when a puppy photo comes my way it is enough to put a smile in my heart. Phantom's Aunt Jill took him over to Must Love Dogs on Tuesday evening for their puppy social hour. The local newspaper was there doing video taping for their website and Phantom got caught on camera. Check him out....especially at the end of the show! He is the cute white one. :)

Happy Birthday to my Best Guy!

Happy Birthday to Mike who surprised his mother a number of years ago by showing up early. He broke her heart because he was due on Valentine's Day and she wanted him to come then so she could always celebrate the two together. There will be lots of chocolate cake today and later in the week and we extend the festivities!

We had a terrific SAMD outing today at John and Joanne Studebaker's house. Here Jessica is coming back to camp with Boston and Treasure at lead and Sasha at wheel. Way to go Jessie!
