More Visitors
The pups enjoy meeting so many new people. They entertain for a while, snuggle and then fall asleep on the air conditioning vents. We humans talk for a while and then the cycle repeats. Great way to enjoy the first weekend of summer.
We learned long ago that Samoyed puppies don't like the heat. In fact with summer coming early this pack of puppies is looking for ice to sleep on. Everyone finds a spot close to the cold.
Life for the puppies now is about learning to love everyone and every thing! Our house is filled with people daily as our friends help us socialize the puppies. Even the Pomeranians have their assignments.
Lots of visitors make for well socialized puppies. We try to have the puppies meet at least 40 different people from a wide age group before they leave. We are almost at our goal. Here are a couple of visits from this week.
It was a busy day. Lorraine and Jill helped me wash and blowdry all five puppies and then we took their six week ribbon pictures. They are six weeks old today. In birth order it is Red Boy, Orange Boy, Yellow Girl (aka Clipper), Green Boy and Blue Boy. Looking good!
